What's different about 10x8 Photography Training?

Take better portraits

Take better portraits

Our photography training courses are designed to help you take better photographs, regardless of what camera equipment you have.

Our courses are short, rarely more than 3 to 4 hours, there’s no commitment to sign up to a series of courses and you could choose to attend just one or a number, over whatever time period suits you.

We aim to keep the technical jargon out of our courses and explain things in plain English with plenty of hints and tips, with time for questions too.

What sort of camera do I need?

Take better photographs with your camera

We welcome delegates with all sorts of cameras (old and new) – Digital SLRs (DSLR), digital bridge cameras, digital compact cameras and digital compact system (CSC) cameras.

Whatever camera you have, if you want to learn how to take better photographs with it, we can help.

Whilst there’s no reason you couldn’t attend a course without a camera, we do highly recommend you bring one. We often have cameras that we can loan you on the day, but it’s much better you get to know your own camera.

How many attendees are there on your courses?

We want you to get the most from our courses, so we never have more than six attendees. This ensures that we can answer questions and if you need assistance with your camera, we can provide that.

We use presentation materials throughout the course and will email a link for you to download a copy following the course. This will include additional notes about the topics being covered.
